Our founder, Prof. Zafar, started out in the field of embroidery merely to help a friend out in his startup business in 1972. Prof. Zafar would teach in college during the day and work tirelessly with the embroiderers in the afternoon. Seeing his understanding of the craft and his dedication towards converting the art into an even better hand craft, the master embroiderers in the local market started calling him “professor of embroidery”. It is no wonder that when orders and inquiries started coming in from the Masonic lodges in Great Britain in the mid-1980’s, Prof. Zafar was given the task of putting together a team of most experienced designers, embroiderers and seamsters of the highest caliber to meet the peculiar needs of Freemason fraternity.
Considering the scope and breadth of the work involved in producing Masonic regalia, the two friends came to a mutually agreed conclusion that Masonic items need special and focused attention, and to do their work proper justice, they need to set up a separate business unit. Hence, Zeebro International came into existence in 1987 under the astute leadership of Prof. Zafar, who had the full backing and support of his friend and family, namely his three sons. In a very short time, Zeebro International earned an enviable reputation in producing world class handcrafted Masonic regalia.
Whether it is large ceremonial lodge banners displaying Masonic emblems and symbols in meticulous hand embroidery; or well-crafted aprons with bullion and thread embroidery on lambskin; or finely made neckties, bowties, and cummerbund carrying custom designs; or apron, collar and crown cases made of choice material decked with embroidered Masonic symbol and/or name of the worthy Mason; or custom design gloves made of specially processed kid leather or the finest quality cloth, Zeebro International has become a one-stop shop for Masonic regalia and supplies. We are humbly setting the standard in producing highest quality Masonic regalia at very competitive prices.
With the knowledge and experience of serving the Masonic fraternity in Great Britain in particular, and Europe in general for 35 years, we have recently started expanding our operation to serving the noble Masonic community in North and South America including Canada and Mexico. Our family business based in the US is owned and run by an immigrant, whose optimism, dedication to the craft and philosophy of building relations before business are making the American Dream a reality.
